National merit - first choice college selection

Northeastern , Rutgers , UMD, Purdue, UIUC, GaTech, UMich, UNC,UVA, VTech, Ohio State College, Pitt

Which college out of these is known for NMF scholarships?
I know that purdue gives $500/yr for NMF which is very small amount.
Not sure if Northeastern will give any more merit for NMF as they already offered 30k/yr scholarship.

If first choice college is left as undecided, then does NMSC ignore such applications?

You can write undecided or pick your most likely one until deadline and change it once you know where you are enrolling. Most selective and desirable colleges are cutting down on merit scholarships. It is pretty much like insecure dudes flaunting their money to get pretty young girls while confident men looking for love and compatibility.

You can look at each college’s website or call to confirm if they indeed intend to offer any scholarships.

The NEU award is all that is offered. The other schools listed either don’t offer anything or offer very little.

If you want huge merit for being a NMF, you need to apply to schools that give such. Alabama is still awarding its huge merit award to NMFs
