<p>Collegeboard’s recent Score Choice does not report a preference by NMSQT - should I send all scores or only my highest?</p>
<p>There is another huge thread on National Merit, class of 2010. Some discussion on there about score choice. I don’t think it matters. I myself phoned them and they were … um… not terribly courteous. Basically they said “We are not a college, we don’t judge, we take your highest score regardless, just send them in!”.</p>
<p>But, I elected to use Score Choice anyway. It was for my Daughter and I was trying to help get all her “ducks in a row”. She only had one SAT but I “selected off” the SAT II grades, just so they weren’t confused…I don’t know why. But some others on that thread also said they used Score Choice. I don’t think it matters. But you WILL find a calculation on there as to what score is adequately high enough to meet the needs to become a finalist. I’m too lazy to look it up, but it’s in the 1960 range. And they do not count the essay, it’s a SLIGHTLY different way of scoring. That formula is also on the other thread.</p>
