National Merit Semifinalist & EDII

  1. I know that Vanderbilt is a NMSC sponsor. Would reporting my name to Vanderbilt through my semi-finalist status improve my chances of getting in?</p>

<p>2) Does applying ED II give you a statisical advantage over applying EDI or Regular?</p>

<p>yeah i think it’s pretty safe to say that mentioning that you’re a semifinalist will definitely give you at least a bit of an edge in admissions</p>

<p>as far as i know, ED 1 and ED 2 are pretty much weighed the same when it comes to the admissions advantage, & applying to ED at any school gives you an edge over RD since you’re saying Vanderbilt is your top choice</p>
