I am a national merit finalist through my moms job. Does this count as a true national merit finalist? There are a lot of scholarships that this is one of the requirements. I did not put this on my resume. Should I have?
The status comes from the National Merit Scholarship corp, although your mom’s company may then sponsor a scholarship for NMFs. If you are NMF, you get separate info from NMSC. If you have been designated as a NMF, you can put that on your resume.
