<p>I had heard that national merit kids get to sign up for classes first, but some of my friends who did preview are already registering for classes. </p>
<p>Does anyone know how this system works? Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>All students register for their first semester at Preview with an advisor, including any Honors courses. Blocks of classes are held for each preview session so there isn’t supposed to be an advantage to choosing an early Preview date.</p>
<p>From the second semester forward, National Merit kids are assigned their registration date on the first day registration opens.</p>
<p>All Honors students may register for two Honors classes, one on each of the 2 days BEFORE registration officially begins, through their sophomore year. Any additional Honors classes, if open, may be selected on/after a student’s normal registration time. This applies to juniors and seniors as well.</p>
