<p>Has anyone else received any information about the National Residence Hall Honorary Chapter, or been invited to apply?</p>
<p>I am unable to determine if this is a legitimate organization or not… seeing as this is my first semester, I have hardly done anything to warrant a nomination, and it just seems to me like its a collegiate version of the “Who’s Who Among High School Students.”</p>
<p>Anyways, other details would be much appreciated.</p>

<p>I had never heard of this before your post and after looking over their website it doesn’t appear to be anything of real merit to me. My advice, unless someone else has anecdotal/ first hand information to the contrary, would be to save your money.</p>
<p>I’ve never heard of it, but regardless of that, is my general rule of thumb is this:</p>
<p>If a merit organization asks you to join, and a big part of joining is a fee, F that.</p>
<p>My feelings exactly - I was particularly doubtful when the “Chapter Information” section of the application was identical to the website… such that I could find no other relevant information on the site. </p>
