National VS Regional Universities.

I applied to both national and regional universities. I applied to only test optional school being my ACT score isn’t the best. I am studying to major in biology and minor in neuroscience. In your opinion, how would a high ranked medical school react to someone coming from a national university with a high MCAT score vs coming from a regional with a high ranked MCAT. Would national look better because it is better than going to a regional school?

Vs a liberty art school.

You could literally go to the weakest four-year school in the country and it wouldn’t matter. What matters for med school is your GPA and MCAT scores.

Med schools won’t care as long as the school is decent.

You have a bigger problem…

What was your ACT score? If you aren’t able to score well on standardized tests, how will you be able to score well on the MCAT? Med schools aren’t test optional.

Is English your second language? Are you a US citizen or green card holder?

You applied to a variety of schools…are some OOS? Will they be affordable?
