<p>Just got a big packet in the mail. It takes place at Georgetowns Medical School. My parents say its a scam because it costs 1500 dollars I think so too but im curious, does anyone else know anything about this? Scam or Prestigous?</p>
<p>Waste of money if you’re doing it just to put it on your app. Elite colleges won’t give you brownie points just because you show them that you have enough $ to attend such a camp. Thousands of people get this in the mail.</p>
<p>It’s just a money making thing. We throw it away every year. Same goes for Student Ambassador stuff and Youth Leadership stuff. It’s basically just a trip that you pay for. They send them out to thousands of kids and it’s not an invitation based on any type of academic statistics. It’s basically junk mail from a mailing list.</p>
