<p>Do colleges find out an applicant’s nationality through other ways other than in the application, because minority asian students such as filipino applicants (according to fordham and nyu) arent specifically in the choices of which nationality you are in the application and the asian/pacific islander is too vague…how some colleges know that i am a filipino?</p>

<p>this is why there is no point for poeple to not put down their race on college applications because colleges will found out either way.</p>
<p>your race is one your HS transcript. Also, many schools will allow you to specify a nationality.</p>
<p>are the races really on the transcripts? I had no idea, wow! now, I feel that putting it on the app is really kinda manipulative…like, you think you’re getting a deal, but not really…</p>
