<p>I’ve heard stories that the Naval Academy gets calls as late as the week before I-Day with regards to a rejection of an appointment. I have no idea what circumstances cause that to happen. I don’t even know if they are Urban Legends. But I’ve heard those stories several times.</p>
<p>People who have previously accepted an appointment by the deadline CAN change their mind at the last minute. Accepting the appointment is not a binding agreement.</p>
