What does it mean when a college wants to connect with you on Naviance? Is it anything common or special?

I’m not sure if it means anything but I only got it from two colleges that I visited… Did you ever find out?
It’s part of that massive load of emails and mail you’re getting. They want you to eventually apply and hopefully attend. It has no bearing on your actual chances however, if that’s what you’re asking.
The marketing dept is separate from admissions officers’ eventual deliberations.
