Hi everyone! Happy New Years Eve!! Quick question, as Naviance reports the 2 most recent class years that applied to colleges, does this make it a credible source? For example, if one is within a cluster of green with their GPA and test score, meaning accepted for a particular college, does this mean you most likely will be admitted? Thanks so much
You’re asking 2 different questions. First, the data is “credible” so long as the students are reporting decisions accurately and faithfully. Second, the data can be predictive of your outcome but generally the sample size is too small to be reliable. If your high school graduating class is really big and the majority apply to a particular school (say an instate public) then it is more likely to indicate your standing. Also 2 years is a short timeframe- our school has 10 now. There can be blips where a school gets many students in one year, none the next.
Hi @Oregon2016 ! Yes I addressed two questions and thank you for answering both at hand, I appreciate it.
How do I know if my school has a naviance?
@sumuzu your high school guidance department would tell you if Naviance is available
