Now comes the news that IOP Director David Axelrod will serve as a commentator for NBC News:

Excuse me while I go watch NBC every night for the rest of my life.

I love David Axelrod (I’ve met him, and he’s my personal career idol), and the IOP is one of the things that most excites me about UChicago. I don’t think this would affect that much, maybe raise the profile depending on how frequently Axelrod appears on the news. Sounds really exciting.
