My son got the same request. Luckily his grades were high this semester, but we need to wait until tomorrow for the semester to actually end and GPA to update. I see they want the result quickly, but we still have to wait until March? Ugh.
@needhalc do you plan to submit or have the school send them? We are in the same boat with deferral.
We are planning to send unofficial screenshots of transcripts . Do your due diligence but wen we called, they said it doesn’t have to be official.
I was going to ask the same question. My DD is a freshman at State. We are from VB. She went to the Math and Science Academy at Ocean Lakes. There is one other freshman at NCSU from OL, also in engineering. Most of her friends ended up at VT. With the housing issues at VT, I’m glad she chose NCSU. She loves it and is thriving.
@JesseJune , the info from @gwen2020 is correct. It took us ages to figure out.! you sign in with unity ID, and then the temp password (last 4 of their student ID and dd/mm of their birth date) So- an 8 number temp password altogether. This will then send you to a different screen to create three different security questions. Once you complete that, it will allow you to reset your password.

@jumpman2323 my sons stats were slightly higher than yours (class of 23) and he got zero aid. we are in state so that might make a difference. instate tuition is fairly cheap

@ACatSLP How do we log into myPackPortal? We go here: https://oit.ncsu.edu/my-it/ then select “My Pack Portal”, then select “NCSU Faculty/Staff/Students” as the affiliation which takes us to the Unity ID log in page.
When we enter “Unity ID for MyPack Portal” and “Temporary Password” we’re given on the congratulations page, we “Authentication Failed”.
Update: Never mind. Should have read directions closer. Have to go to ncsu.edu/UIA first for security questions.
when we submit mid year grades how do we do that? I know you submit them through the portal but will a typed google doc with the grades work? or do you have to go to your counselor.
@Lilmelo we asked counselor and he said he would submit thru common app for us. Our qtr ends this week so he will send those when they are finalized

Still waiting. AA Female, applied for Biology, 3.96 Weighted GPA, 25 ACT, in-state. 5 Dual enrollment classes and many honors classes and ranked 18 out of 214. Probably won’t get in since a lot of my stats rank beneath the standard, but I can hope.
