Does anyone know if NC state gives any merit aid for OOS students? DS was a Park semi finalist but did not move on. Not sure there is any other aid that I can find.

Female OOS Accepted Engineering, 1340 SAT, 4.3 weighted gpa, Multiple APās, multiple leadership roles, heavy service, Extreme on the ECās and two Varsity Sports, great Recsā¦seems like they took the holistic approach with her, now just trying to figure out how to pay for this OOS is daunting! DS 1560 SAT, 35 ACT first sitting for both. GPA 3.9 at private HS - took maximum load of APs. Excellent references and decent essays.

What is the point of transfering with am Associates degree if the requirement is 30 credit hours? I want to transfer but Iām expecting to be doing school a lot quicker than others. I want to bolt through 3 years for a B.S. and I dont want to spend any more than 2 semesters in community college in order to transfer.
Son accepted into Engineering SAT 1280 ACT 31, 4.5 GPA Engineering classes and several AP, Rank top 10 out of 400, Eagle Scout
Has anyone received a physical acceptance in the mail yet?
@ACatSLP - DS just received his yesterday. We are fairly local to the university. He had also received his email acceptance a couple weeks earlier than most EA students because of a scholarship he was in contention forā¦not sure if that impacts when the mail notifications go out.

I called admissions today and was told that NC State will not be sending a big packet in the mail to those that were accepted. A smaller letter will be coming out at some point in the future but no big folder/swag.
My child received a mid sized packet with printing on it āThe Big Oneā. No real swag just a booklet.
My S received big packet from NCS labeled " The Big One" on Mon this week.
So does anyone know when RDās will come out? It says decision date March 30th so thatās what Iām expectingā¦ But has it been any earlier in the past?
