Did anyone else receive an Honors College invite? My son got his email today. Still no “The Big One” snail mail though…

@twinmommy has she received anything at all in the mail yet? Mine son has not. Perhaps because we are out of state??

My daughter received an Honors invite by email but no snail mail yet. We are OOS.
Like many of her other acceptance packs, D20’s was delivered to the wrong address. Someone in our neighborhood dropped it off this morning. We’re in state, and it was delivered yesterday.

Hi, for students who received the honors invite via email, are you willing to share your stats? My son hasn’t received one, thought that he would.
@Henry111 My D20 was invited to apply but does not want her stats shared. However, a student can self nominate. It appears they want an SAT of 1350 or an ACT of 30 and a GPA of 4.5 Weighted or 3.8 Unweighted. I hope that helps!

My daughter’s acceptance packet arrived in the mail today (we are in Virginia). She received an honors invite via email yesterday.
Did you have to apply for honors? My son does meet at least 2 of the 3 requirements, but has not received anything about honors.
My daughter didn’t apply for honors…at least she doesn’t think she did 
I guess if your son doesn’t hear something soon, he could contact them and ask.
My D20 was invited to apply to honors via email. She was a Park Scholarship Semi-Finalist (did not make it further) so perhaps that had something to do with it though she also had the qualifications listed above.
I emailed the school, it turns out that they did send an email Honors invite to my son but His email account bounced it back to them undelivered. He is having a similar problem with some emails from South Carolina. Some of the emails make it to him and some don’t. Some weird issue with yahoo email.
@coco3611 Yes my D received the honors/scholars invite as well. We also got her Big Envelope in the mail this week.
I wonder if there are any past stats for people getting in after being deferred? This is the last school DS20 needs to hear from.
@ITBgirl I know of several who got in after being deferred. I think with EA, they only consider 1st choice major, but with regular decision, they are able to consider both. Good luck!
Anyone going to an Accepted Students Day?
Went to Admitted Students Day yesterday… They did a great job! Very well organized with tons of information. Late engineering tour was great and very candid. The beautiful weather was an extra bonus.
