I’m wondering if Admissions will still be working as normal since the school has gone to online classes?

@coco3611 There wasnt a letter it was just on MyPack and it had financial aide section wit h full cost in there so I assumed he was not getting anything. Are they actually sending a letter out
I hope not!! This has been a long enough wait so far.
We don’t have a letter but saw $ today on Wolfpack Portal.
My daughter was deferred so still waiting but she did get her Ohio State acceptance last night and that school is shut down as well so I assume NC State decisions will not be affected by the school closure.
@sunnyschool did you get anything ? I saw my sons and it looked like nothing. Since he is OOS don’t think it will be doable since he has some merit from other schools

Does anyone know when scholarships results are expected to be released? Got about 19k in grants as an OOS, but am hoping for a little bit more in the form of merit.
@sunnyschool - May I ask where in the portal you saw the grant? Was it under Pack Portal–>Financial Aid–>Scholarships and Fellowships?
I see in that same area under Financial Aid offer, the unsubsidized loan offer, but no mentions of merit / scholarship anywhere?

That’s great . When you say grant is that fnancial or merit based ?. I didn’t think NC State gave much for OOS other than Large scholarships .
in years past they delivered decisions closer to the 20th/21st. so i wonder if this year it will still be early or will it now be on the 30th. the never ending wait
I’ve heard that decision letters were to be mailed out this coming Monday(obviously that has changed now) so I’m going to assume that this Friday we should have an update on the portal.

Just financial. I am actually pleasantly surprised I received that much, considering I am not lower class.
So just catching up here. Does anyone know if all the Merit Scholarships have been decided? I see my Financial Aid page has been updated with a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan, however at the top it also has:
“The following financial aid offer statement provides a summary of all financial assistance we are expecting you to receive from every known source at this time. Some assumptions may have been made. Click on the Fund Description/Category>General to reveal details about potential assumptions.”
So does that mean no merit, or will merit come later and show up here as well?
Why is it to be assumed that NC State is planning on releasing decisions on Friday?
Does anyone think NC State will accept more students because they may be taking a hit on international kids with full tuition payments? Plus the possibility of losing kids because they can’t tour the school anytime soon?
