Are you in state? Our GPAs in Wake County do not weight that high anymore.
It almost seems like EA is more popular than RD nowadays lmao
Agree! I’m a parent putting myself through the stress for my son. He doesn’t want to try the ‘tricks’, just waiting for the results. But after all these kids have been through with Covid, getting to college is definitely a great achievement. Good luck all!!
Yes! It’s such an accomplishment for all these kids no matter the outcome! I know so many have their heart set on State and it will be heartbreaking. We adults are so proud of every single one even if we don’t know you! Virtual high five to those who get good news and a virtual hug to those who get disappointing news tonight! All of you are awesome for a great high school career and bright future ahead!
My DD In-State applied to Virginia Tech as well. General Engineering (Aerospace Engineering).
Two hours to go?
I am OOS
I wonder if they recalculate GPAs to normalize data? No idea
I have read that all colleges do this. They recalc based on the percentage the student receives in the class.
Withdraw button is now gone…
My son’s too. Going for engineering. I’m sure I’ve refreshed that page 200 times and him only twice. Impatient mother!
is this a good or bad thing or we don’t know yet?
90 minutes?
My sons withdrawal is gone as well a he can get it it the student portal
Same
Button gone, can’t get into portal though
SAME!! My son is stressing too but I think me a lot more! He is engineering too so I wonder if they are just finally getting to those?
Maybe. Engineering here too. I am worried since he can’t get into the portal. This is his top choice school and we are close by so it would be harsh to not get in.
My button is gone and it says Final Review Consideration
I’m in state and was able to read acceptance info via financial aid/AED last evening. I’d disregard anything other than official one.
