NC State Fall 2020 Transfer Thread

@RangerRick175 do you mind sharing your GPA?

@itsmejess1 Yeah I’ll give a rundown of my app.

26 years old
3.3 cumulative GPA with a 3.6 ish in all major related classes
out of state
Served 5 years in a Special Operations Group in the Army.

No real extra extracurriculars really.

Anyone else hear back today?

@RangerRick175 Thanks! I only asked since we were going for the same major. My stats are similar, so maybe I still have a chance. I honestly cannot wait for tomorrow to be over lol

I really hope our decisions come out today and that their isn’t a delay.

Good luck to everyone waiting to hear.

Anyone heard back yet?

Probably won’t hear anything till 5 eastern

Unbelievable. I got deferred AGAIN. I was originally deferred for midterm grades and was supposed to receive a decision today. But I logged into my wolfpaw portal and they want me to submit final grades for a June 15th decision.

Can you see a student ID on your wolf paw account?

Can you see a student ID on your wolf paw account?

@NKA704 Yeah there’s a student ID but I’m pretty sure everybody has that on their application.

anyone else hear back?

I was rejected. Good luck and congrats to everyone else. I had to login to Wolfpaw. I didn’t receive an email.

@itsmejess1 I’m sorry to hear that. I’m pretty bummed to hear that tbh

Did you receive a decision yet? @NKA704

@RangerRick175 I’m bummed too. I applied prematurely anyway though. I still have to take the math requirement over Summer, so I’m sure that played a part in the rejection. I’ll try again for Spring Semester and apply to a few other schools as well. Did you take Calculus?

@itsmejess1 Yes I took calculus 1

@itsmejess1 I’m taking my required math this summer as well.

@Starfoxx87 Hopefully you’ll get in! I hate you have to wait until June 15th to find out, but at least you’re still in the running! Also, my GPA was on the lower end at 3.4. Are you taking Calculus I? I’m concerned I won’t be able to get my GPA up enough since I only have two classes left, but it’s worth a shot.
