Can anyone here vouch for the quality of either of these schools? I am considering both and have heard NC State has a great engineering program but it’s harder to be accepted to. I have heard good things about The Citadel in general but nothing concerning their engineering program.
Of course I won’t base my final decision off internet opinions, I’ll probably go see both schools this summer. Also, I know they are two very different schools. I guess NC State is my “main choice” for the time being, but I’ve never been too inspired to go there. I can’t shake the feeling that I’d be missing out by not going to The Citadel, but it may just be a phase. I guess I’ll know for sure after I tour them.
