<p>Does anyone know what NCAA considers the 8 semester. My son transferred beginning of his 10th grade and the new school made him start over as freshmen. They did not accept his credits from the public school. All of his grades were B or above. Basically they re-classed him as freshmen. Now we learned he must have the 16 hours complete in first 8 semesters. He is taking some classes online from an NCAA approved school. He started the courses in March of the 8th semester but will finish this month. Is this still considered the 8th semester?</p>
