My-Oh-My! Today is full of upsets. 'Nova got beat by Marquette. Miami beat Wake.
JHS - I am pulling for Temple to go deep this year.

Women - think I am going to the first round games at Old Dominion on the 21st. Pretty exciting. Those UConn women are amazing!

justamomof4: Rumor is Uconn women are either going to Pittsburgh or Norfolk for the first round, so you might get to see them.

Fear the Turtle, baby!!!

shellfell - I knowwwww. so excited!!

I already had to put myself in “time out” for dropping to the level of the 18 year old Kentucky fans with whom I got into a fight on the Southeastern Conference facebook page… Note to self: I am supposedly an adult. That said, how can fans vary so much from school to school?

rodney - I feel your pain. I absolutely hate it when the microphone gets within close distance to an athlete in pain. Based on Onuaku’s reaction on the floor, I doubt he’ll be back for the NCAA’s. Although they’re all trying to play it down (I’m sure they don’t want speculation of his injury casting a shadow on the seeding), I’m pretty sure it is more than a ‘strained’ knee.

And we get a double whammy… H and I are both Texas alumae. But we gave up on that ship weeks ago.

Totally off topic… I’m desperately trying to learn about my new MacBook, and I wanted to quote rodney’s post, but I don’t know how. On my PC, I’d highlight the text I wanted to copy, hit Control C, then move the cursor to where I wanted to paste, and hit Control V. I can highlight the text I want, but I don’t know how to copy and paste on the MacBook. Help!!!

I think it’s c&p, not v.

Last year, ldreochi came back to start the pool, but it was kind of a hurry-up thing, IIRC. If someone else knows how, I’d say the sooner the better.

C&P’s not working either, but thanks for the suggestion.

Gosh, it’s been a long time since I used a Mac. Isn’t it apple-C and apple-P?

I will try come out of retirement for this.
Geez you guys, I did this the first time when DS was a Freshman in HS and he’s a Junior at Elon now. Swamped at work but I should be able to at least re-set it and give everybody instructions about how to link in.

Hurray! 3 Cheers for Iderochi!

lol, definitely not a secret to the old-timers that son ended up at Elon. Very happy to answer any questions about the good, bad and ugly as a grizzled parent.
