<p>Just out of curiosity, does the ncaa investigation into the UNC football program bother any current or future students?</p>
<p>I thought the whole FEPRA excuse for withholding records was weak and inapplicable to the situation. I’m glad the DTH and other news organization held accountable. But really, I don’t care about sports, at all, so I’ve never lost any sleep over it.</p>
<p>So you wouldn’t mind the school releasing your ticket information for the world to see? I think it’s odd that these athletes are being held to different privacy standards than the rest of the student population; they’re just kids and human, after all. Most students are just weary of the negative attention the investigation brings and ready for the distraction of it to be over. I, for one, believe that UNC (unlike some other schools) is much bigger than its athletic program and will continue to define itself in other ways beyond what happens on and off the field. This investigation does not define the integrity of our great university.</p>
<p>People joke about it, but I don’t think any students here are really worried about it.</p>
<p>Its not something that I talk about with my friends… honestly, I don’t think many of my friends know much about it. Since I am a sports fan, I’ve kept up with the investigation… but I haven’t lost sleep over it. At this point, however, I really can’t wait for it to end… the whole parking ticket “scandal” is quite silly.</p>
