<p>I have a question. Does anyone know what is the minimum distance to throw for shotput and to be scouted by a Division 1 college like UCF, FSU or USF? Thanks :)</p>
<p>I hope you have not signed up for this service yet … you really don’t need one in order to be recruited and they are $$$$.</p>
<p>Jazzy, @ FSU, Coach Braman has put out a standard of 60’4" as a general guideline for scholarship potential, with 63’ being a “target” recruit and 57’10" for walk-on. (you’re a guy, right?)

<p>^ ah…should’ve have guessed since UCF doesn’t field a men’s track team. For women, FSU put out the standard of 47’ for scholarship consideration and 43’3" for walk-on.</p>
