Hey! I just finished freshman year. I applied as a transfer student with 41 credits from the University of Alabama ( 12 are from high school). I applied late so I am being viewed with the group finding out June 15. I also would be an out of state student. This is the only school I applied to so hopefully I get in but if not I will be staying at Alabama and retry for spring. Do you guys think I have a good chance?
High school weighted GPA: 4.3
GPA college: 3.43
Major at Alabama: Biology
Major applying as: Animal Science
I’m still waiting for NC State, got accepted to Baylor, App State, and Virginia Tech (VT might withdraw my application though). Has anyone heard back that got pending spring grades?

Got denied so I’m done with NC State.
Accepted for Biochemistry: ~3.5 GPA. I didn’t have two of the recommended courses, so those aren’t a deal-breaker.

@coleman4 I haven’t heard back yet unfortunately; I assume decisions will be released later today. I just called a representative for NCSU Undergrad Admissions and she told me to just keep checking my wolfpaw today. fingers crossed

Anyone apply to NC State for the Spring of 2018?
Hey Im applying to NCSU for Spring Semester 2018, I have 31 Hours and currently working on 46 after this semester. I Have gotten a B- in Bio 111 and averaging a B+/A- in Bio 112 with a B in Chem 111. My GPA is a 3.22 what are my chances for an agricultural science major at NCSU.
Could someone chance me? I have about 70 credit hours with a 3.72 cc gpa. I’m applying for a comp science degree but i have yet to take calc 1& 2 as well as physics 1 & 2 but I am involved in a honor society as well as an orphanage club for kids in india. Will not taking those classes completely destroy any chance I have?
I would switch majors to something easier, like a degree in the Humanities college. If you don’t have four courses they ask for they don’t like it. I was deferred last year. I would just ask them to change majors and then attempt to be a intra-transfer into Comp Sci when you’re at NCSU.

Depends on how many hours you have. Anything over 30 and you’re probably fine.
By then ill have 33 but i think my gpa might be too low.
