Which school has better graduate school placement, in general, besides med school/law school; no idea what I want to be! I would love be a professor of nearly anything atm, need to experience college to see my real passion.

BYU it cost like 10k a year haha its cheap as hell.

I don’t know anything about NCSU, but BYU gets a surprisingly-high number of graduates into Harvard Law School every year.

NC State is estimating $16,200 for tuition and room/board next year. BYU charges $14,900 for LDS students and $20,600 for non-LDS students. Not a significant difference from NCSU if you’re the former, especially since you have to factor in airplane tickets for an NC resident. Admittedly, many LDS churches offer scholarships to BYU, so cost would vary depending on financial aid or scholarships received.

I wouldn’t touch BYU with a barge pole, but I’m gay and BYU is something of a joke in my field, so I’m unabashedly biased. My personal preference would be NC State and then a transfer to UNC if I didn’t like it. coureur is right, though - like other specialized colleges like the top HBCUs, BYU seems to do better in professional and business placement than its academics and selectivity would merit.

well how long does it take to join the lds church? also the op didnt verify hes in state so thats still up in the air

Not if you glanced through his past posts to find that out before posting, which I did.
