<p>I just read this book and I thought about how much this community would really get/enjoy this. If you need a laugh, this book will do it. It satirizes the Broadway community including an entire section on auditioning for and attending BFA programs!! CC, “top programs”, MTCA, Mary Anna Dennard, and so many other things are covered. <p>I’ll have to check it out. One of the things I love about the Kindle is that I can download “samples” of e-books before purchase. Mind you, some of the samples turn out to be the table of contents and the dedication and the title page, but most of them do give a reasonable amount of the actual text.</p>

<p>was rec this book 4 a good laugh. So glad I got. Read BFA chapter 2 my D aloud just 2 see her reactions. Glad I did. We both LOL 'till we cried. she had to explain a few things when she felt i wasn’t laughing hard enough which resulted in further hilarity…HIGHLY recommend.</p>
<p>I don’t have a kindle but I did read the preview. I loved the part about CC and how us parents try to be cool but all we really abbreviate is D and S LOL! As if son is just too long to type lol</p>

<p>MTMajorCook, if you have a droid phone you can download the amazon kindle app and get the book via the store there. That’s what I did today and now I can finish reading the BFA chaper (I think I’ll save the rest of the book for audition time). Or do what PelkyAgain said. :)</p>

<p>This was such a hilarious book and now it’s in paperback! And the “book tour” starts tomorrow at Moonifieds in Dallas! I wonder who “he?she?” is? Is the tour hitting all the spots it mentioned in the book? SO funny! I’m following it on twitter and Facebook!</p>
