need advice badly!

<p>Hey everyone,</p>

<p>im pretty new to this site but really want some feedback.</p>

<p>Im currently a sophmore in high school and my goal is hpme, but that may be highly unlikely. If not hpme, then maybe plme?</p>

<p>GPA=
1st semester freshman year = 4/441
2nd semester freshman year = 15/441
1st semester soph year = 11/441</p>

<p>Junior year schedule= ap english 3, ap chem, hnrs physics, ap spanish 4, hnrs precal, ap us history</p>

<p>Extra curriculars =

  1. Bharatnatyam (indian dance) – 10 yrs
  2. badminton team
  3. volunteering at hospital – also part of junior volunteer council
  4. volunteering at library – also part of teen advisory board
  5. peer leadership network
  6. hornet habits
  7. key club
  8. science olympiad
  9. math team
  10. Spanish hnrs society
  11. <strong>hoping to be in national hnrs society next year</strong></p>

<p>PLAN score = 24
PSAT score = 168</p>

<p>ive been trying to find a good research program or internship program for this summer but havent been successful at all. ive been recommended for the nylf program in medicine, so i may do that.</p>

<p>Your message is a year old but i have seen your updated questions on Northwestern.I would definitely recommend that you apply early decision to Northwester and try to find a mentor there (perhaps someone who appreciates Indian dance and the arts) Also I would try to do a spectacular community service project, possibly in India with medical care.
