<p>So here is my dilemma:</p>
<p>I applied to UC Santa Cruz and UT Austin. I was accepted to UC Santa Cruz and I was offered the opportunity to participate in the CAP Program at UT Austin.</p>
<p>My goal is to major in Cultural Anthropology, end up at UC Berkeley for law school, and go on to serve as a civil rights lawyer or lobbyist.
With my goals in mind, is UCSC a better option than UT and is it any easier getting into UC Berkeley from UCSC than UT?</p>
<p>Also, considering I don’t really like the small town feel and I’d rather be in a large to medium sized urban community that is liberal and gay friendly would UCSC be a better fit for me? I have an older brother who attends UT and I visit often. I truly love it besides there not really being much racial diversity but any information on the environment at UC Santa Cruz would be awesome!</p>
