Okay, so I’m a freshman at a school ranked in the top 20 and my science GPA sucks.
I got a C+ in Bio 1, B- in Chem 1, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to get a C+ in Chem this semester.
I really really want to be a doctor though, so should I just face the facts and let this dream go? Any advice as to what I should do next?
So, at my school we can drop one class without penalty, but it will show up on our transcript. Should I consider applying a foreign medical school with a premed program like SGU (St George’s).
So basically here are my options the way I see them:
- Take Chemistry 2 again over the summer
- Accept that I can never go to medical school
- Apply to a premed program at somewhere like SGU, so at least I can go to medical school.
- Anything else you can think of?
If you guys could give me some kind of input and advice that would be awesome. I’m just so confused right now as to what I should do. I am seriously considering a foreign medical school, b/c I dont want to give up…
