GOOD essay, GREAT recs

What do you think are my chances at:

Wellesley
Connecticut College
Trinity College
College of William and Mary
UC Davis
UCLA
UConn
Beloit
Simmons
Augusta
University of San Francisco
University of Notre Dame
Northeastern
University of the Pacific
Bradley
University of Virginia
Bowdoin

You’re a great fit for Simmons, but in my experience, admissions focusses more on getting to know the candidate as a person than as a statistic (having said that, the class of '11 is both the largest and most selective). Just out of curiosity, what are you interested in majoring in?

I’d say that Wellesley, William & Mary, UVA, Notre Dame and Bowdoin are reaches, especially with the current SAT scores.

Reaches: Wellesley, William and Mary, UCLA (even though you’re in-state), Bowdoin, UVa, ND

Matches and Low Matches: UPac, USF, Beloit, Simmons, UConn, Trinity, Connecticut College, UC Davis, etc.

Your SAT scores, especially your verbal, are too low for your reach schools. Especially for UVA and W&M out of state. Way too low. If you can bring your verbal up 30-100 points and the total score up about 100, you’ll be much more competitive at Wellesley and Notre Dame. But with your AP scores, Bowdoin, UVA, and W&M are going to remain big reaches unless your score breaks 2000ish.
