My son is a sophomore in CT. His school runs a cutting edge program which allows the kids to go and do a 2 week research with UConn health center research (UCHC) internship. He also got accepted at Yale Young Global Scholars program for Biology. He also got accepted at John Hopkins Engineering and Innovation Program. If he goes to cutting edge UCHC , he will have to miss both the program at Yale and John Hopkins. What is a better option for him in your advice.
He should go to the program that is of most interest to him.
My son the the Hopkins EI program last year. He loved it
Thank You @thumper1. He has varied interest in genetic sciences and astronomy. He doesnt know what he should do hence trying out Yale Global Scholar and Hopkins EI. Given a choice he wanted to do research hence the confusion. Thank You @GeoffWii2 for feedback on EI. Very helpful.
My son went into EI as wanting to try out engineering but major in Physics. After EI his now going to study Electrical engineering at Stanford. I HIGHLY recommend this program
@GeoffWii2 Thanks a lot ! Feels much better…Exactly the reason he wants to try out …Congratulations to your son and you !!!
