need advice..

i got a full ride scholarship to a school which didnt offer too many bs degrees but i thought there was one that i wanted. now we’re getting to the end of the first semester and i am realizing that the degree i really want is not offered here. i know a school that offers the degree but i will have to pay to go to it. i just need some advice or something… do i stay here and suck it up to go with the IT degree for free or do i go somewhere else and pay to get the technical sales degree i want?

I would say try to be certain what you want to pursue. You may never know if you begin to enjoy IT. If you’ve already made your decision, then you definitely do not want to spend your life doing something you don’t necessarily love and so you should considering transferring.

You also need to take a long hard look at the classes at your current school (don’t forget to include such general education requirements as English, History, etc.) that would fulfill requirements in the program at the other school. It is OK to go ahead and contact the other school and ask about what courses would transfer, they might or might not be able to tell you. You may find that you can spend two full years (on scholarship) where you are before you have to transfer in order to complete the degree that you want to earn.
