<p>Does anyone know how poor you have to be to get a need based scholarship from NU? Does a middle class kid have any chance of receiving one, or is it only the extremely poor kids?</p>
<p>Jeez, this is a really awkward time in writing this (considering tomorrow and Saturday) but…</p>
<p>Middle class people have a chance to get them. I think that if FAFSA and CSS Profile say that you need money, NU will provide it for you in one way or another. I don’t think (or, at least, I hope not) NU would expect someone to come up with $40,000 per year if the income is $30,000 or so abone that (also pending that there are other students in college and other financial concerns, bills, and what not). However, if someone makes between $150,000 and $200,000, they will most likely not get any help for pretty obvious reasons.</p>
<p>Idk man, i got a friend who got a lot of money and he sure the **** isn’t poor. He is just like the rest of us in our affluent neighborhood.</p>
