Need feedback on freshman schedule

My son is enrolled in the following:
Bio 1140
Chem 2070 + lab
Math 1110 (Calc 1)
Intro to Food Science
Supplement classes (1 credit ea) for chem 2070 & Math 1110
Intro to Microeconomics
PE

(Received transfer credit for FWS) He will be at the maximum credit limit but 3 of those credits come from PE and the two support classes. He is taking microeconomics to get a minor in business.

His advisor thinks he would be fine with just bio/chem/math/food science his first semester. Would like to get some feedback on the Intro to Microeconomics class and whether it would make for a very difficult first semester with the rest of his classes.

Any feedback/suggestions?

Intro to Micro was a fairly easy class, if the same professor teaches it this coming semester. CAS makes the class average around a B/B+. I think it’s a good idea to take it and get a feel for economics if he wants to minor in business (AEM I’m assuming).
