<p>What are your extracurriculars? Your grades aren’t the best… and your SAT isn’t incredible either. Honestly, unless you’ve done something to really distinguish yourself extracurricularly, or your grades have been higher for most of your high school career, I’d say you should be looking a little lower than Berkeley and University of Chicago. What about SAT II’s? Have you taken AP’s or Honors courses?</p>
<p>Berkeley is probably going to be unrealistic, but we need to hear what your ECs are.</p>
<p>I can say that University of Illinois at Chicago is pretty realisitc (UIC =/= University of Chicago). If you say you have an UW GPA of around 3.0 with an 1800 SAT, which isn’t terrible, you should be fine for UIC. It kind of depends what you’re going into I guess, but I’d definitely say UIC fits for your stats.
Berkeley, not so much.
You could also try applying to Purude or UWMadison. Good Luck! :)</p>
