NEED HELP BY TONIGHT - Do we really control the ACT scores that colleges see?

My son got a 34 composite on the ACT but a 30 in Science. He knows he can do better in Science but wonders if he would do worse in English and Math (both 36’s). At first I was thinking what would it hurt to take it again - since I thought we had compete control over what colleges see. But I’ve read in some places that that some colleges request all scores.

What’s the right scoop?

Do the “all score” colleges get the scores right from ACT?

How would a college know that if I didn’t send them all of the scores?

Need to figure out whether to register him by tonight’s deadline.

We have the same concern. Due to scheduling issues Daughter took the April test cold as a “stand by” and scored a 33 composite. Wondering rather to re test with prep for June. Can still register and pay a $21.00 late fee.
