Need Help Choosing 10th EC

Hello all, I’ve narrowed down almost all of my EC’s for my activity list, but can’t decide the 10th one, or which one would fit best into my list.

  1. Rep. (9,10), Executive (11), President (12), [Redacted Name]

Led 68 service projects; partnered with 26 organizations; founded lower school branch; allocated $5K in grants; volunteered 567 hrs across [city].

  1. Development Office Intern, [Redacted Nonprofit] - 12th Summer

Developed Holiday Card Fundraiser for 447 recipients; expanded Meals on Wheels routes; organized 5 years of tax reports; archived 4 years of media.

  1. Programs and Event Intern, [Redacted Nonprofit] - 11th Summer

Boosted social media reach; planned dinners at [well known hospital]; wrote 100+ donor letters; facilitated HQ move-in; interpreted lease and tax documents.

  1. Writer (9,10), Co-Editor-in-Chief (11,12), Student Yearbook

  2. Expert Witness, Mock Trial - 11-12th school

  3. Founder/President, National Ethics Bowl Club - 12th school

  4. Host/Food Runner/Busboy, [Local Restaurant] - 12th Summer

  5. John Locke Institue Global Affairs Forum Attendee, John Locke Institue - 12th Summer

  6. Representative, [School] Honor Council - 11th school

Heres where I can’t decide:
10) Varsity Wrestling - 9-10th, pretty much all year, high hours per week count
10) School Ambassador - 10-12th, School Tour Guide, doesn’t meet often so low hour per week count
10) French Club Secretary - 9-12th, rarely meets at all, don’t do much.

I plan on applying as a PPE or PPE related major, don’t know if that helps. Would also love some feedback on the descriptions of the first 3.

You do not need a 10th EC at all. You don’t have to fill all ten spots.

So do you think it would be better to just leave it blank? I was leaning towards putting in wrestling since I got varsity.

Then put in wrestling. But I wouldn’t give this a second thought.

are all 10 ECs listed taking up a significant portion of your life, and have shaped who you are? Colleges don’t want to see someone who’s spent 3 hours a week doing everything. They want to see a few things that you really put your blood sweat in tears into. To me, it seems almost impossible one could do this for 10 things. This could be a red flag to be honest.

Why is this a hard decision? I don’t understand why you would leave a high-commitment sport off the list.

You seem to have answered your own question in the descriptions, so I’m confused about why you’re asking.

I’d choose wrestling as it shows you explored a different side of yourself. It doesn’t matter if it was varsity - (For all we know, they needed someone in a weight class in which you were the only one.)
