TCNJ is not a commuter school. You could argue that it’s a suitcase school, but that’s every public (and most private colleges) in NJ. It’s a small state and most students can get home within a couple of hours max.

Certainly. I have no way of knowing whether Denison would be affordable. But the OP led with GWU and American, which are similarly expensive and generally less generous with aid than Denison… so my thought was that any suggestion that could improve on those was worth floating. OP will, of course, have to assess affordability at any/all schools under consideration.
