<p>VH, if it makes you feel any better, I showed this thread to “my son, the acoustician” 
and asked him why the $ spent on Bose is worth it, compared to the cheaper models you referred to…he gave me the long involved technical explanation, which made my eyes glaze over within a minute or two. But, suffice it to say, you made the right choice!!</p>
<p>Thanks, JustaMom5465. We’ll see if my son agrees. (His GF told me he wanted the Bose but knew it was out of his price range. So he certainly should be happy!) He should receive it this week.</p>
