Need help getting into college! im going to be a junior in high school

<p>Hi, I’m currently a sophmore in high school and I need help getting into college, I saw this website and I read a lot and it helped so far. </p>

<p>My average is 97.77</p>

<p>Do colleges really pay attention to regents exams because some of mine aren’t perfect [ill post the grades if they are important]</p>

<p>my sat on world history-640 [here’s the thing, my brother told me colleges want to see that you specifically are good in one particular area because history is one of my worst subjects]
-Can I chose not to send this score and jsut send the SAT scores that I do next year because then I’ll take them in subject areas I’m better in.</p>

<p>I’m going to visit Columbia, Siena, and Sophie Davis [ccny] over the summer and I have interest in them. Anything specifically that they like to see?</p>

<p>I saw Yale this year and I completely fell in lvoe with the campus, dp i have any chance of getting in?</p>

<p>What I want to do: track? Rowing? Writers monologue? Yearbook? Sci oly cap? Science national honor society? National honor society? Gold award? Musical? Perspective? Nyssma?</p>

<p>Any suggestions?</p>

<p>It is really hard to tell without more stats. The best thing you can do at this point is get a sense of large vs. small, urban vs. suburban etc. and then see what your PSAT is. If you are looking near NY you might want to check out something very urban like NYU and also try to see something suburban/small town like Bard or Trinity. Also that will show you the small vs. large student body contrast. Even if your scores are super and those turn out to be back-ups it will give you some ideas. It’s not quite as close to the City but I’ve heard that Vassar has a really beautiful campus.</p>
