Need help in my application

oneday: I said for people who will be taking the Dec. SAT to tell collegeboard to send out the scores asap because, as I recall, the UCs expect the SAT scores by the end of Dec or early Jan. And for those taking them in Dec, it takes the collegeboard about a month to score them, so it’ll be too late for them if they first wait for the scores to be mailed to them and THEN decide if they want to send them out or not. However, in your case, you’ve taken the test already and are done. So what I suggest is for you to first submit your UC app and then send your SAT score after. Since by the time the UCs receive your SAT report, they’ll already have your application to match it up with. So a week after you send your app sounds like a good time to call up collegeboard. O, and if you didn’t know already, when collegeboard sends your SAT score report, the report contains a history of ALL the SATs you’ve ever taken, not just the recent ones or the ones you choose to send.

syneria: Actually, the UCs expect that you send your SAT by Jan so they can confirm them with your reported scores. I had a friend who thought that she sent her scores already, but then was sent a letter by the UC in early Jan that they didn’t have her scores yet. So she had to order collegeboard to rush delivery them. I believe what you’re referring to are AP scores.
