NEED HELP Making a college list, upcoming Senior!

<p>Hello everyone, I’m an upcoming senior who attends the American Community School of Amman, Jordan
I need a lot of helping making a list of colleges that satisfy my possibly majors</p>

<p>I’m very interested in Business Admin with a concentration in either Marketing or Management
Also my potential minors are either in Psychology or my long time hobby, Photography</p>

<p>So far this is my list, I need 8-10 schools. </p>

<p>Reach
-UPenn (my mom would like me to test my chances, you never know until you know!)
-Berkeley
-NYU
-Boston University</p>

<p>Fit

  • UT Austin
  • American University
  • Syracuse University
  • Penn State</p>

<p>Safety

  • Parsons, The New School of Design
  • UMass Amherst
  • Virginia Commonwealth</p>

<p>I’m also thinking of UMich, Northeastern, UPitt (my mom went there), and Clark University</p>

<p>From my list so far, I need help picking 8-10 of the best undergraduate business programs, any opinions? Thank you so so much. </p>

<p>UT Austin is a reach. They auto accept the top 7% of every Texas student, which makes the acceptance rate seem so high, but it’s hard to get in OOS. It will be even harder to get in OOC. Also, Parsons is VERY expensive. You need to know that you won’t get much, if any aid at all from these schools. If you can’t afford to pay $60,000 a year for a school, it’s not a safety. Also, factor in travel expenses and the cost increases even more.</p>

<p>I have no problem with financial aid. I am very fortunate to have my mother work in the United Nations and I am grateful that they cover 75% of college expenses. </p>

<p>Also I am a frequent traveler, I lived in a variety of countries throughout my life so I am aware of the travel expenses as well.</p>

<p>I had realized that about UT Austin and decided to stay near the northeast because the majority of a family live there.</p>

<p>-GPA 3.6 so far, my grades are decent
-Have been on high honor roll since freshmen year
-My classes are all honors and i take APs so it can be challenging at times</p>

<p>-I haven’t gotten my SAT scores yet they come out tomorrow (I am so nervous)
-ACT scores come out in another 3 weeks for me</p>

<p>-AP’s: AP Psych, Lang so far haven’t gotten my scores
-Senior year I plan too take AP Stats, Environmental Science, Micro, and self-study Macro</p>

<p>EC’s

  • JV Soccer and Volleyball in 10th grade
  • Varsity Soccer and Volleyball this year and will continue up till senior year
  • Won Most Improved Players for both Varsity Soccer and Volleyball this year
  • Outside of school: I dance and have been since freshmen year, I’m in an all girl hiphop crew that will be starting doing shows around Jordan :slight_smile:
  • Newspaper Club
  • TONS of community service</p>
