NEED HELP! math problem!

Hey,

I need help on problem number 26 on Math Level 2 from the Subject Test Preparation Booklet:

<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools;

Can anyone figure this problem out? Thanks!

Let X = the center of the circle.

Angle CAX and CBX = 90. (They are tangent to the circle)

So angle AXB = 360 - 50 - 90 - 90 = 130.

Now you have an isosceles triangle with sides 2, 2, and AB. The angle between the sides of length 2 is 130. Use the law of cosines to solve for AB.

AB^2 = 2^2 + 2^2 - (2)(2)(2)(cos130)
AB = 3.63

Thanks! That one was a real stumper for me.
