I'm a asian international. I don't have a school counselor who can help to select college. Please help me to select universities.

math level 2: 800

Essay and recommendation will be good as those are real life stories and reflect myself.
Not only I'm a first generation college student but also will be first from my region to apply in US universities.

i am member of 4 clubs and holding 2 leadership positions.

Volunteer at an international organization nearly 350 hours.

I worked in a place related to my intended major for 2 and a half year

involved in publishing school magazine for 2 years.

And i can do these things:

C++ and java programming

Made 8 cool electrical things

I'm considering these universities:

i need financial aid as I can contribute only 13k per year.

WILL I GET INTO ANY OF THESE OR I NEED TO apply other schools? Please help.

Ah! This OP didn’t tell that he has got into those. He is seeking help to select college.

Sorry man i couldn’t help but hope that others will help you as this is a forum of many experienced guys who are really helpful.

Please don’t take this personal but you made quite a few mistakes in your text! How did you manage to get a 118 in your Toefl and a number super close to 800 in both your Writing and Critical reading Sections of your SAT?

Apart from that:
Nobody knows whether you’ll get into any of those. You have a good shot at most of them, as you seem to have them listed according to their US News rank you probably know that the higher up you get, the less likely admission becomes.
I would say you have a fair chance!

Have you familiarized yourself with the vibes of certain schools?
Because Reed, Bard & Skidmore are quite different from Vanderbilt, Colgate is quite different from Duke and so on.

^i think he used a mobile device:-D

Sorry for the errors. I was typing so fast as my phone is a typical old phone with 9 number+3in1text button. For this reason, there was a problem and i couldn’t check back for any error. I did once but entire post was deleted.
I can’t select passion for FA . Cause money is the biggest thing now.

I knew it. Don’t worry too much as you’ll get into at least one of those top schools.

Guys, this is my first prediction of chances. Please tell me if i’m right or not.

Read through the entire website, then contact the counselors at the advising center closest to you. If you cannot visit in person, they can give you some help by phone or email.

EducationUSA is a not for profit organization. The counselors pride themselves on offering unbiased accurate information. They are expert at helping students in your country find good places to study in the US.

Your grades and test scores would qualify you for guaranteed merit-based aid at some colleges and universities that are not on your list. Visit the Financial Aid Forum, and keep scrolling down until you find the threads on that topic.

There are very few schools with need blind admissions for internationals. You need to apply to several financial safeties to obtain merit scholarships and then you are free to pick a half dozen from the top of your list. The vibe at some of those schools is very different so I would spend more time on the individual college forums and the financial aid forum.

Thanks a lot. But if i apply to all in the top 11 list, will I get in any of these?

I’m collecting info from other forums.
