Hello everyone!
I am an electrical engineer from Greece, specializing in electrification systems. My diploma thesis dwells on the optimal control of stochastic systems and energy modelling.
I have six months of industrial experience, developing computational models for power substations simulation and propriety data mining algorithms.
A group of researchers and I will soon be publishing a paper, utilizing wavelet analysis to examine energy trading historical data. We intend to pursue a second publication on electrical load forecasting (stochastic modeling via copulas).
My GPA is 7.2/10, slightly above average for my institution. My performance in maths however is bellow average.
I am interested in stochastics, control, forecasting, data mining, agent based models, complex systems and the like. I intend to apply for a msc in financial engineering.
Could you please give me a list of programs that suit my performance? So far I think that Steven’s Institute of Technology is a suitable place for me to apply. Any other ideas?
