It was difficult to imagine George, _________ man, as a psychiatrist; listening while others talked was not his style.
A.Voluble
B. Insensitive

Although the answer is A, I can’t rationalize why the answer can’t also be B. Here is my logic: An insensitive man does not have feelings or human sensibility, thus he shouldn’t be a psychiatrist, who is supposed to be a sensitive, loving person that can heal the inner mental illness of a patient. Also, an insensitive man would least likely to listen to other people’s problem because he is unfeeling by nature.

Thanks!
