<p>The best answer to a question this specific is usually, call the college on Monday and ask them. But that may be hard to do this week. Can you call somebody you know who’s already applied, either this year or in the last year or two, and ask them what they did?</p>
<p>If not, I say, put the date that’s on his current license. If that’s not what they wanted, and it becomes a serious issue, they’ll ask you to clear it up later.</p>
