Need help with resume

hello, i am compiling my own resume for a job, but i was wondering if any of the good parents out there would let me see their resume, you can omit personal info, i would just like to see what are good components in a good resume. so far i put
objective, education, main extracurricular, community service, and leadership, but it looks inferior in many ways(i.e. unfilled spaces etc.) and since i never had a job before, i got no experience. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I haven’t made a resume in years. You can find a lot of examples with a google search. Good luck.

thanks for the advice, i already did, but i was wondering if i could see some of the adults real resume, by the way, my email is jack_frost429■■■■■■■■■■■■ thanks

I worked as a recruiter for a company that hired from Boston-area colleges. One piece of a resume I found helpful was a summary (e.g., “Skills and Achievements Summary” or “Key Achievements”) at the top under name, address, etc and objective. Some possible examples (there were usually 4 or 5 bullets)…

-Three years summer employment, with increasing level of responsibility, at architecture firm

 • Personally financed college through scholarships, work/study and summer employment
 • Fluent in Italian; received Romance Language department’s highest award
 • Proficient in Excel and Access
 • Excellent communications and customer service skills
 • Served as team leader in design and implementation of RA leadership development program

it helped me to get a quick sense of the whole person…
Good luck!
