<p>Definitely do Chem 171 & 172. General Chem sucks, so get it over with in 2 quarters instead of 3. It will be time-consuming and difficult either way so don’t think you will make your life easier by doing the 100 sequence.</p>
<p>Organic Chem in the summer? Maybe, maybe not. You’ll have a clearer idea of what you want by the time spring quarter rolls around. Quit planning so far in advance! I will say, though, that Evanston and Chicago are at their very best in the summer months and it’d be wise to stick around at least once.</p>
